Plugins Reused for My Website

WordPress Plugins add a wide variety of functionality including adding to the user experience, performance, security, and appearance of your website. These plugins can be seen as the tools that help you make a great website. For the final of this class, I opted to re-activate the following plugins to help me get started.

  • Accessibility by UserWay
    • This is overall a great accessibility gadget and allows your webpage to reach more people.
  • Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection
    • This plugin prevents comment spam and other types of spam that diminish the image of your website.
  • Jetpack
    • This plugin provides a wide range of security and file backup tools.
  • Simple Social Buttons
    • This allows you to easily add social media links and icons to your blog posts.
  • Wordfence Security
    • This plugin improves the security of your WordPress page.
  • WP Go Maps
    • This plugin adds an interactive map that you can add to your webpage to show users where your establishment is located
  • Kubio
    • In my experience, this is the easiest page editor and helped me get the page looking how I wanted it to.
  • Blubrry PowerPress
    • I chose to go with this podcast plugin for its ability to add podcasts to your blog posts.
